DR GJ Joubert Primary School Officially has it’s own Library

This story of hope became more than just a “story of hope” when the community stood together, joined hands, and empowered the school to bless the learners with an opportunity to read!

For years the school has had the dream of having its own library which would help so many learners with literacy and comprehension skills, but unfortunately, this was never made a reality until Strong Schools ZA had privileged to be a part of this beautiful project. Annette Botha mastered the project masterfully and used her gifts to network well excellently to bring everyone together.

A huge thank you to all the other role players such as:
Biblionef, Gordon’s Bay Lions Club, Gordon’s Bay Friends of the Library, the WCED, Strong Schools ZA, Capitec, Friends of Afrikaans, Mergon Foundation, and volunteers who donated and covered books, donated curtain cloth, and rugs, etc. This was a true display of a collaborative effort!
