Wrapping up the Masks Drive
At the end of the day, face masks have become as important as our wallets, cellphones and car keys in our daily lives! We are so grateful for all the volunteers would gave their time and talents, and for people who contributed financially towards this project. R22000 was donated towards the making of masks for the public school learners!
After the 22nd of May 2020 deliveries (read the full article here), the volunteers kept on sewing… So on 17 August 2020, Nokwazi Mniki was able to distribute another 2733 masks in total amongst our 9 primary and 5 high schools (between 200 and 230 masks to each school for additional protection and support). Here are some images of our schools’ staff receiving the masks from Nokwazi! Happy teaching, everyone!
This concluded our mask project!
